About
Raised in Chicago, Illinois. Jose Not Josè was introduced to a lot of different musicians and artists throughout the city growing up. From Open Mics to studios he was enamored with the craft of sound. This continued into his collegiate career getting his BFA in Sound Design at the Savannah College of Art and Design. There he added to the knowledge of music with the fundamental teachings of film audio. Jose has experience with a multitude of sound applications such as student films, animations, ads, podcasts and soundscapes. Musically he has songwriting credits, production and is very skilled as a audio mixer. Having worked on live sets, he’s well practiced in live sound as well in the capacity of lights, live mixing, wireless microphone setups and boom pole recording. Working in audio production he has a lot of experience with Pro Tools, Ableton Live, Logic Pro X, Maschine, FL Studios and more.
Mixing
One of my main services that I take a lot of pride in is my mixing. Blending the elements of the song together to the artist’s taste not only takes your project to the next level but also brings the project to fruition. Here I included some sample work ranging from creations with artists individually to remixes of songs previously released either for class submission or competition.
Film Reel
